I've actually started playing Clear Sky now, it's beautiful. I'm tempted to installed Windows 7 Beta so i can try out the DX10 features. :p But yeah, it's very good from what I've seen so far, but it is ball breaking unfair most of the time. The amount of damage some guys can take is obscene and it's quite deflating to go back to the shitty gun physics after playing Oblivion Lost. After leaving the swamps for the first time, were you have to go past the military base, there is a machinegun nest. I was playing on master difficulty, and it's actually impossible to get past it. Had to bump the difficulty down so I could get past the fucker! Meh.

Still, it feels good and the atmosphere is amazing. 4870 ftw!!

Yeah but the point of the game is not to do what everyone else does but find your own route. When it opened up on me for the first time I holstered my mp5 and legged it. Got back to the swamp, scouted round to the north. Came back to Cordon and snuck down the far side of the camp. Killed EVERY LAST MOTHERFUCKER and then threw a grenade at the gunner before having a laugh with the mounted MG. The next time I played it was on super piss easy mode so I just ran up to them using cover until I could get a couple of rounds from my rifled double barrel shotty in the window. The next time I played it I took out every last military cunt with a sniper rifle, having completed lots more of the game before coming back to kill them.

Did anyone else forget that the game doesn't pause while talking to people and then get a nice, healthy pile of bullets in the back and immediately ragequit?

That mod is certainly worth the download.

Started a new game, all settings maxed out and it ran quite happily on newputer, and it really does look pretty.

To be honest I always found that little section buggy as hell. I've had instances where the freedom guys hate you on sight and other times I've managed to sneak through the base and kill all but the HQ guys without anyone raising the alarm...

Been playing stalker COP for a little bit today and holy shit wtf some parts of the game just dont seem finished xD

OK im bad at RPGs and cant realy read so probbaly not the best for me. The begining was halarious realy shitty intro thingy that explains roughly what the crack is then boom here u are in a grassy feild off you go! :D at least the first stalker had a nice intro. The fucking wallotxt i get every bloody time i talk to some one is just anoying i end up clicking randmly because i cant be arsed reading it, voice actors fucking hire them! christ id be happy if every person i talked to spoke to me in a microsoft sam voice!

talk about being thrown in at teh deepend, walking along then GRRRRR ok there is a bad thing. Turned out to be Dr fucking zoidberg thats invisible apart from the exact point when its trying to bite my dick off.

I ended up quiting after getting ganked by a ball of lightning that i angerd in some way and chose to throw boxes at me. How the fuck do you kill lightning? If it turns out i could have killed with by shooting il lol, maybe next time its raining hard il shoot the sky to gank the rain?
