LAN#4 07/08 - Battlefield 2 discussion+signup!

As always, this thread is for the organization of balanced teams and pre-made squads for battlefield 2 at the upcoming LAN. post here with map suggestions and who you want to squad with, our 'default' maps will be scheduled but if enough people want something else then here is the place to say so!

Don't know the other players well enough to have a preference, but after being stuck on my todd pretty much for the last two LANs, I'd quite like to be in a proper squad.

Mogwai, are you sure having yourself in a squad with more than 1 other person is a good idea? Unless you're forgoing the vehicles this time. You and a gunner in a vehicle means the rest of the squad (one or two people) are left on their own, unless they can snag the enemy's vehicle as well.

That was the problem I had last time.

Hey, I'm actually more than willing to step down as a commander - it'd be fun to get in amongst the squad action. I just said that Pixie and I would do it as in the past there's been little interest in anyone else actually wanting to command.

I'll leave it up to Mogwai to decide it all, but I'm happy to stand down and let PaulRPG take the reigns.

Aye as I said also, I'm happy to play any position. Shooting folk is also fun. :) having said that it's not all scanning, repairing, supplying and spotting sometimes. I do tend to get the odd opportunity to frag/shotty plucky Special Ops chaps. You know who you are. :p

fixed, for now :) this list changes a whole lot as more folk sign up - i'll put you guys in with gor+muppet - Gor is simply the best squad leader i have ever seen, not only are his orders perfect to the letter, but they are delivered in a commanding, masculine, and yet still sweet-like-honey tone. enjoy!

To be honest?

I haven't stopped being unwell on some level since just before Christmas, I've gone from cold to flu to unmentionable things and back to cold, so I don't want to make everyone else ill and I think that spending all weekend in the same clothes without really leaving my seat much at the LAN would be a bad thing.
