sold 1600 seats in 3 weeks (400 remaining) - already at that amount i34 is set to be the biggest gaming event in uk history. I can see there being some teething problems at the first LAN in the new venue, though, so I might be tempted to check it out a few LANs down the line. Cheaper and significantly closer than newbury, too. :o

Theres 4 of us going down to i34, this will be my 8th i-series event and with 100 miles knocked off the distance and a hotel booked for the entire event I think it'll be a great LAN.

I was at i26 I think it was, a few years back, but the drive down absolutely pumped me for the weekend. I had promised myself that I wouldn't go through that again until a second driver came along. But the 100 miles closer does makes a huge difference. The drive down to the Birmingham toll is relatively simple - it was that 50 mile M40 straight after the toll that fucked me.

Yeah, M74 to the M6 is the easy part, it's the shit after the tool thats the nasty part, fortunately that shouldnt be a consideration now :D

It's probably worth mentioning that this new venue is only the locaiton for the large Summer LANS, the Easter/Winter LANs have only just started to sell out so it may be a wee while yet untill they fully relocate to the new venue.
