I remember playing System shock back in the day. I could usually go about 10-20 minutes before saving and going for a break due to the onset of terror...

The god damn game came on 13 floppies and took about a week to install. God help you if one fo the disks got damaged. Even the box art was cool.

did you ever have a chance to play the CD version? full talkie and had some higher res movies. Pixie posted a version that you can play through again on modern machines, well worth it.

Yeh, I bought the cd copy in Makro when my disk 10of13 died :'( The 1024x768 resolution option killed my poor 66mhz 486 DX2 with its 20mb of ram (I traded in 32 30pin SIMM's ripped out of junked pc's behind a council office to Priceless (yeh, the one opposite PC World) for a 16mb goldstar 70ns DIMM.... must have been one of the highest specced machines in Glasgow at the time!)
