Price: £5 or free if you're a new member. Also it's free if you're a driver and offer to give people lifts in the transport section of the sign up page.

Don't worry if you can't make it in for the Friday night, you're welcome to turn up at any point with your PC.

Games

Now, the really important bit. Here is a rough list of the main games we shall be playing and the version you should be running. Please have as many of these installed before coming to the LAN. This will save you a lot of time which should be spent fragging! If you can't get hold of these patches before the LAN (in particular Steam updates) don't worry, you'll be able to the get the patches off our dedicated file server. However, I strongly recommend that you patch before LAN.

*Due to the massive size of Crysis Wars it is highly recommended that you install it before coming to the LAN. It's also free for LAN play!

Generally we just play with and against each other over the network, although there have been times when there's nothing scheduled where a bunch of us join a server and grief some noobs. :) This happened for TF2 and CoD4 in the past, possibly others as well.

Play in first person mode. Might not make you play better, but it's intense and we have a plan to do some enforced 'first person only' rounds. :)

For those of you that have the Left 4 Dead demo, make sure you download the newest patch before you come to the LAN, it seems to have fixed the connectivity problems for a lot of people.
