This is relevant to GUNSOC as having a job will make my computer better, my games list better and thus my participation at LANs better. =P
Would you give someone who looks like this with 8 Standard Grades (all 3 or better), 4 Highers (all C or better) and no work experience a job?

If you don't get the job you can always grind the interviewers bones to make your bread.

Hmm...
I don't see why not. Depends on what job you are after at the moment :).
May be try for Sales Assistant at sports shop, Electronic shops :).
Or shelf stacker in super market. IT will gain you good experience, then after that move on to something better :).

Anything, absolutely anything. =D
I asked 'cause I had an interview type thing with Pertemps, some sort of temping agency.
Looks like once some paperwork is sorted I'll probably be getting a job working for the government doing data entry. -_-

Well I suppose you'd do. lol Try just about anything. My recruitment consultant told me that. I'm gonna be going looking for another job after Thursday (when I graduate. :-D) and he recommended about 30 different places. Make sure you have a spiffy CV ( I recommend Contemporary Resume in Word) to dazzle those interviewers.

If you've not got it on your CV, put it in there:
Anything to do with literacy. English qualifications are good
Ditto numeracy and maths.
Computing is a big one as well. Have you designed any websites? good with computers? Put it on. Helped organise lan meets (stretching the truth isn't the same as lying, doncha know :)
It's all about the spin you put on your CV. I'm sure you've done something litle orno-one else has.

Yeah, I spent most of it on FPSs and stealing various games from people's computers. =P
