My left wrist is screwed ( no wanking jokes please) and I need to go see a doctor about it cos it's been 3 days of pain now. I'm having to use one finger on my left hand and my mouse in the left. it really sucks.

Tennents = Carling, but from Scotland
Conclusion: British lager sucks. Buy European or Mexican.

Real ale is good yes, I'll concede that but a refreshing pint that won't leave you feeling bloated or flying round the ceiling after 3 pints lager's the way to go.

So long as it isn't urine on tap, like Carling or Tennent's.

Must... not... make... joke...
Seriously, it could be all the mouse action. I had really, really bad RSI when I lived in Bedford because I played much more computer games than I do now.
A MS trackball explorer at work helped a lot, as well as a joystick style mouse at home for internet browsing etc. I still use a normal mouse (well, bigger than normal to fit my large hands) for gaming, but I don't get RSI any longer.

That totally sucks, RSI don't sound like fun. :( You must have been playing so much though! How much you reckon a week?
I wear an elastic sweat band when I'm playing hardcore. May not sound much but it does support your wrist.
Or if you feel like going the whole hog, get one of these......

That looks hilarious :D
Get one for each hand... and you could probably win most games without having to play them -- use your imagination as to why/how

I have to agree with the reviewer you would look like a bit of a pra I mean idiot.

It's a good idea, just badly implemented. Definitely needed more time/money put into making it actually useful rather than "looks".
And lets face it, if you saw someone at the LAN wearing this thing, you'd laugh til you died. :?
What they should do is make supportive wrist bands with your fav game logo sewn into them. Would be well sweet. :P

I work at a computer all day and I used to get RSI type twinges, but then I started going indoor climbing twice a week when i lived in Glasgow and it went away. I guess it was all that hanging by my hands stretched and strengthened my wrists.

fucking hell.... You guys must play hardcore :P ..... Is RSI , something along the lines of extremely sore wrist ???
How many hours do you have to play a day to get that ??

Aye that would do the trick! I've never had RSI problems myself, so I don't even know what it feels like.

That's a good question, too many I guess. It's also about your seating position, height of table, arms straight, that sort of thing. Hang on, lets see if we can get a proper speel.

Perhaps some people just have delicate wrists hehe. I played CSS last night for about 8 hours. 4 of which were quite high tension clan matches. And my wrist is fine.
But then you get some people who play... Doom for about an hour.. and they complain of a nippy wrist.
Weaklings! Conditioning is what we need... Aldous Huxley style :)

16hours of Final Fantasy VII? you mean in one stretch? Because if your going to get RSI, what a heroic way to do it! such a brilliant game, definatly the best of the final fantasy's, but im biased because ive only played 7 and 8!
