Yet again my computer in its great wisdom has decided that it will play silly beggers. Until about last thurs my copy of GTA San Andreas was working fine. Now when I try to load it it doesn't even get into the vids at the beginning. I've tried reinstalling, reinstalling my graphics driver and still no luck. I've got a launch analysis folder thanks to SP2 (yep a file of gibberish is really useful) and can't really see anything bar a restore AGAIN to sort out the gremlins. Any ideas guys?

Right. I can share your pain in this. Not that I know how to sort the problem, but I have the "HL2 not working problem"
I sucks don't it? Game works, you're happy. Then game don't work.
You get upset.
Have you checked out the official forums/support page? Thats always a good place to start. Does all the rest of your games work fine? What are your specs? Installed anything since you last had the game working?

Will have to check the original forums.
Spec: Pentium 4 2.66Ghz
768MB Ram
320GB HDD
GeForce MX4000 128MB(recommended spec calls for a GeForce 4 but I had it running before.)
Creative Live 5.1 Value
All my other games play fine and the ones that I had from the LAN still run. ;-)
Had to install AOL(I know I know. I didn't choose my service provider at home and mum's not budging).
That's about all and I have tried uninstalling AOL and then running it again.

Sent an email to Take-Two's support and that's sorted it. For some reason my alterations to the key map screwed it up. Go figure.

Crazy shit man. I'm glad you got it working again. I really should go and buy myself a copy.......
As for AOL, I'm not going to say a word.
