Hi guys,
I posted on here a while ago about all the local unis/colleges getting together to have a big LAN. I haven't actually done much towards it yet (been well busy with exams). But all of our guys are more than willing to arrange it all, if you just want to pay entrance fees? What we really need is a head count (and certainly a way of contacting Cali's gaming soc (if they have one)).
We estimate about 60 people, 20 from each uni? Most of our LAN's run overnight, but it would be more suitable if we just rented a place for the day. I've got a few places in mind, Whiteinch, Charing Cross and our Union.
I'm making a thread on our fourm (now re-designed, you'll be happy to know :P). So just come on over, guest acounts are enabled - so you don't need to regsiter.

We've got, equipment wise,
Dual AMD 2000+ Athlon MPs’ // 1GB DDR ECC // 600 GB Storage
Celeron 2.7GHz // 512MB DDR // 40 GB Storage
2x 16 port hubs, 1x 8 port hub, 3x 4 port hubs, 2 WAP's
26+ Kettle Leads, 300m CAT5e, Crimps, Crimp tool. etc.
Anyhoo, try and reply on our forum, cos I'll probably forget to check this one.
