Antec have lost the plot

CES is normally a love hate affair for me. New gadgets, tech etc but it comes at a price! This year Antec have made it easier by showcasing these:

That top one looks like 3x 300s bolted together. As for that second one, ugh. I hate this trend in case design.

The top one looks like the dustmaster 4000, designed to suck all the dust from your flat into it's filters.

The second one just looks shit. Like somone at antec bought a whole bunch of 80's sci-fi corridor pieces and needed something to do with them.

That is one ugly case. I've never really understood the whole case modding thing. Swiss Toni would say picking a case is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. You should always go for sleek and slender rather than some monstrosity that dominates the room, wearing too much make up.

I also despise side panels. I'm not sure why anyone would want to see wires, dust and fans.

Agreed, looks awful. Sleek straight lines or an organic look anyday to this bulkhead look.
