Sadly lots of folk refused to pay for, what they felt, was a poor extension to the series so not many folk at the lan have it. Trust me though, you'll get your fill of Source HDR in CS: S.

Me and Yega DO own the game, and im eager to play. My friend Chris will be at the LAN and he does not just own the game, but plays it too, so perhaps we could have a wee game on sat?

Definately. It's an amazing game.
Also, i gladly payed for it after playing it on a friends machine.
It is a game that had alot of work done on it and i think is flawlessly done.
The game is incredibly well balanced and just an absolute joy to play.

Ah I remember the days of DoD beta, with the Hill map. Sniping Germans has never been so much fun. And calling in airstrikes on poor advancing soliders.

Yeah, I remember that.
There was the original beach map as well. "You have only one way off the beach, no cover, and the enemy all have machine guns or sniper rifles."
