CAKE.

The food god has spoken.

OR:-

Biscuit = A small cake of shortened bread leavened with baking powder or soda.

Cake = A sweet baked food made of flour, liquid, eggs, and other ingredients, such as raising agents and flavorings

On account of the cake in question not being shortened it must still be a cake and not a biscuit.

it's a biscuit.

I can resist biscuit but not cake.

I can resist Jaffacakes, so must be a biscuit.

There's a good reason why it is actually determined to be a cake. Under UK law there is a tax on biscuits. By producing it as a cake they therefore waver this tax and thus can sell it for cheaper.

There are several reasons but ultimately ITS A FUCKING CAKE.

FFS Ru, this was an argument between me and Dave!

And your all fucking wrong, it's a god damn biscuit.

Cakes (big or small) tend to be made from similar ingredients with the relatively same texture.

Will go into more detail at the LAN... but there is a reason why they are grouped with all the other BISCUITS in supermarkets around the UK

OK, I'm going to bring a pack of Jaffa cakes. If anyone wants a jaffa cake, they'll be welcome to it.

You can bring some jaffa buscuits, and share them too. :)

If one more person fails to read my post and continue to think that it is a fucking biscuit I swear I'll tear thier head off at the LAN. Understand!?!

This means you Strings.

The difference between biscuits and cake is simply that a biscuit will go soft if left out, an cake will go stale if left out.

So that makes a Jaffa cake a cake, indeed the clue is in the name.

That is all.
