I apologise, but jeezus. How good is this song?

The main idea of this thread is to share peoples love for music, i.e. spam in some of the songs which you think are truly excellant, so then others which aint heard em can do so and be converted! oh save thee lord!!

Amen.

Interesting choice of song there buddy.

Amazing bedtime music,

Explosions in the Sky - Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:2xbyxd0b3oly)

Mmmmmm

Nah would rather listen to Explosions during the day. For nighty music, I think I'd settle for Chopin.

I've got stuff like 65 Days Of Static and Slayer for "night" music.

<singing>
Limb by limb and tooth by tooth, staring up inside of me, every day ,every hour, wish that I....

was bulletproof...

wax me, mould me, heat the pins and stab them in, you have turned me into this, just wish that I...

was bulletproof......

was bulletproof......

So pay me money and take a shot, let it fill a hole in me, I could burst a million bubbles, all surrogate.....

and bulletproof.......

and bulletproof.......

and bulletproof.......

and bulletproof.......

</singing>

Insanely excellent, bitches.

Really? I haven't seen them since 2000, maybe I should catch them this time. The main snag is that they would be playing in SECC which is a pants venue. :(

But still, with a good enough band it's alright. =)

EDIT:

"RADIOHEAD

This event is in the past!
SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2003

Ticket Price: £28.50"

./cry

Nothing else I can see on the SECC site, I shall continue looking and if no-one else has posted I'll just edit this post with any further information. =D

EDITEDIT:

Looks like no tour is planned, HOWEVER they are doing a pile of festivals, so they might end up at T in the Park or something.

They have an album released later this year. No doubt the festivals will be the first of the new material. Then probably tour following into 2007, I'm guessing.

I was listening to the bends over the weekend. Man, it's still a great album. I spent a few very happy hours while mucking about on the inside of a computer listening to this.

The lyrics are... odd... at the best of times (and uninteligable too), but they just go with the music. Oh, the music! Fantastic!

Me an Pixie saw Fear Factory and few weeks back. Awesome BRUTAL!! Lets see... other gig's coming up, radiohead/tool sold out. GAY. Hahha, Gary Numan played at the qm last wednesday, any of you guys see him? If what we heard was him, then hes got a bit heavier.. silly old pimp that he is. Oh,oh, in spirit of this threads orig purpose, err, kinda, i found Absolution to Live for Speed at the last Lan to be fantastic! hadnt listened to it in a while, was some good shit like. Listening to 'Human League - Louise' just now, this song is too good..

PS. Speaking of which, Strings told/showed me this band 'Lali Puna' 's cover of Human League's song 'Together in Electric Dreams'. It isnt really a cover, more like a homage or mere inspiration, but it is really very very good. For those who enjoy a bit of Four Tet, Mum, Aphex etc, give it a bash! Cheers Strings.

Got a copy of 10,000 Days. Not only does the album get better everytime I listen to it, but now I can look through the packaging while listening. Yip, the packaging has two lens, designed so that you can look at the booklet. The lens bring the image together while you're looking through them to make a hologram, is so cool! The art work is fantastic! Adam Jones is one strange guy....

All in all, one of the best albums I've bought in ages......

I do hope you'll all be watching eurovision and voting for Lordi tonight. >=(

Tune in to hear how to vote, it seems we dial 0901 121 31 and then add a suffix, I'm guessing we'll be told which suffix refers to which country during the show.

BBC Page. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/eurovision/2006/news/news_final.shtml)

Lordis' site. (http://www.lordi.org/)

Eurovisions' English Homepage. (http://www.eurovision.tv/english/index.htm)

Live broadcast begins at 8pm.

Lordi FTW!

Also, to prove Lordi are cool:

“Will there be any more surprises in the Final? he said. “I don’t know. Can we increase the voltage? Or maybe we could scream louder. I want the amps to be turned up to 11.

True I suppose, but I love the stupid amount of pyrotechnics (reportedly paid for by donations from Finnish fans) in the Eurovision one. =D

Wonder how long it takes to get into costume.....

So E.S.C. next year, what you reckon? Maybe Opeth, Lacuna Coil , Deadlock, and Penumbra?

Ok Mr Censor, if I'm not allowed to comment (which, by the way, was meant in jest) then neither are you or Niall. Neither of you stated to like the music, both of you pointed out on the visuals represented in the video and or the live performance. That has nothing to do with music. At no point did I ridicule or otherwise make derogotory remarks to anyone who does like this, however it is the generaly regarded view that the Eurovision Song Contest has nothing to do with new music or indeed music at all. The politics and money involved in the E.S.C. is well documented and is as ham as the Oscars.
