So, they've detailed what you loyal Sony customers are gonna get for the last 3 weeks of fuckup, which boils down to choose 2 of:
* LittleBigPlanet
* Infamous
* Wipeout HD/Fury
* Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
* Dead Nation

Awesomely I already have all of these, so yay me. OTOH, if you're wondering what you should get:
LBP: You own a PS3 and don't have LBP? WTF? Even if you don't, I'd say go buy LBP2 instead.
Infamous is a good 3rd person action game. You get to blow shit up. Some annoying repetitive missions (find all the crap nodes on a building sticks in my head as tedium), but overall fun. Can't remember any particularly memorable boss fights, but the intro sequence is pretty good and the effects are nice and splodey. Came out at the same time as Prototype and was generally considered the superior (by a substantial margin). The sequel will be out this year, and will reward those who've played the original. This also has a choose-light-or-dark path system for powers, so theoretically you'll get 2 good playthroughs out of it (I got bored a couple of hours into my second).
Wipeout: Get if you haven't already. Good opportunity for everyone to pick this up so we can all race together (it'll be awesome I swear).
Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty is either a cut down take of Tools of Destruction or a really really big demo for it, take your pick. Tools is one of my favourite PS3 games, tons and tons of fun. If you need convincing to try R&C out you won't be doing wrong by grabbing this and giving it a go. If nothing else it'll be a good intro to the setting, since you're all gonna be getting All 4 One later this year (right?)
N.B. In contrast to Infamous, I played through Tools of Destuction 5 times over, straight.
Dead Nation: Solid zombie based twin-stick. Fun co-op to play with a friend. Probably the least likely one for anyone to own, and definitely worth picking up (even if it is really cheap to buy normally)
If you own none of them I guess I'd rank Wipeout and Infamous the highest
