The Geforce 7800 (http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce_7800.html) is out now. Actually out to buy now (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/06/23/review_nvidia_geforce_7800_gtx/), no waiting for months while it comes into stores either. DOwnside is that it costs £450. (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/7800_Series.html)
Can't wait to see that in SLI. Also the prices for 6600's and 6800's will come down now, so bargains to be had soon, I expect.
Omegadrivers (http://www.omegadrivers.net/) has released the new ATI drivers based around the catalyst 5.6 driver set. Hoping for some good increaces in fps there.
UT2007 is anounced. Video here at gamespot (~40 meg) (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/unrealtournament2007/media.html) Looks Stunning. No, really stunning. Can't wait for release in 2006. Does anyone understand why it's called 2007 then? Are we expecting massive delays?!?
