Just trying out this program called XFire. You can get it at http://media.xfire.com/xfire/client/xfsite/xfire_installer.exe.
It does what Valve's 'friends' feature would do, if it ever worked. Kinda like what Gamespy used to be, before it was just a processor intensive advertisement. If we all install it, then when we go to play a game online we will be able to see if anyone else is playing, and join the same server. It also allows you to voice chat with your friends too, independant of if the game in question allows it.
My username is 'sideshowfrost' on it.

I've got an xfire username as well. Unfortunately I've forgotten it.

Yeah, same old, same old.

It's does have 1 thing going for it: the xfire plugin for gaim means I'm online when I'm online. Otherwise I'd have umpteen different chat programs cluttering up my desktop. Gah.

: cocking uni servers blocking port 25999; can't connect.
