Check this out.
DNF will be physics accelerated!! When it was first anounced particle physics engines were in thier infancy and 'rag doll' was a girls toy!

Hopefully DNF will be out by the time we've all got full body interactive suits. I hear they're aiming for a 2010 Q1 release date, but they admit this may slip :D
I'm really looking forward to seeing just what the physics chip can do. They say it can cope with physics calculations at 100x the speed of the cpu. But at around $200 entry level, it will have to put a huge speedup before it starts selling like the graphics cards of today.
Mind you, a voodoo card in 1995 changed everything for the gamer, the physics chip might be as revolutionary. [crosses fingers]
I think physX is aiming for a late 2005 / early 2006 release date, the mags will doubtless have eval copes soon.

Meh. They should just stick to good old kinematics for most stuff. People put too much on physics reality in games but we all still love the beautiful arcs created by low grav jumping on UT.
